Nancy Pelosi laptop theft suspect in police hands

A 22-year-old woman is suspected of stealing a laptop from the office of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during the January 6th Capitol riots. The woman surrendered to police in Pennsylvania on Monday, but the laptop has not yet been recovered, police said.

The FBI has launched a manhunt for Riley June Williams after a warrant was issued on Sunday.

She will plead not guilty to the stated charges before the federal court in Harrisburg.

The suspect was reported by her ex-boyfriend. Based on the video recording, she can allegedly be seen taking a laptop or hard drive from Pelosi's office.

An informant told police that June Williams allegedly intended to hand over the computer to a friend in Russia. That friend would then sell it to the Russian foreign intelligence service. It is further stated that this plan fell through, which is why Williams still has the computer or has destroyed it.

The video footage shows the suspect calling on the demonstrators to climb the stairs and gesturing with her hand where to go.

The second video shows her mother. She says that her daughter suddenly became interested in the politics of President Donald Trump and right-wing views.

Meanwhile, Williams has reportedly changed her phone number and deleted her social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Parler, Telegram, and Instagram.

According to reports, Williams allegedly traveled to Washington on January 6.

The suspect now faces a charge of knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority. She is also accused of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
