Novak Djokovic honored in America: They are proposing to build a monument for him in New York too
The world's best tennis player, Novak Djokovic, has been awarded the Order of Nikola Tesla, it was announced by the Tesla Science Foundation from the USA, which consists of American Serbs, Americans, and admirers of the Serbian genius from all over the world.
In the explanation signed by Nikola Lončar, president of the TNF from Philadelphia, it is stated that Nikola Tesla brought the future to the entire world, and Novak Djokovic created the future of tennis and modern sport.
„Novak Djokovic is the new Nikola Tesla and a new Serbian genius. Through his deeds, he has elevated the global public and made us Serbs proud. With this decoration, we thank him and give him our full support in his sporting, humanitarian, and patriotic work.
The Order of Nikola Tesla was established in the Tesla Science Foundation a few years ago as the „In the Spirit of Nikola Tesla“ award or „Tesla Spirit Award.“.
As stated, the reason for awarding the Order of Nikola Tesla to the world's best athlete is the unpleasant events in Australia, which resulted in the humiliation and damage to the reputation of Djokovic himself, as well as his Serbian people.
The expressed intolerance, and in some cases hatred, towards Novak has also produced hatred towards Serbs, which is unbecoming of states and figures from the democratic world.
„Nikola Tesla and Novak Đoković are closely connected figures because they originate from the Serbian ethnic group, because as Dinarics and Serbs they physically resemble each other, and because, which was most important for us in the TNF, with their deeds they have amazed the world and shown the mental and spiritual strength of the Serbian people. Tesla and Đoković are today symbols and ambassadors of the Serbian people in the world, Lončar believes.
The president of TNF Serbia, Zoran Bulović, points out that according to data from this Serbian organization from Philadelphia, the Serbian genius Nikola Tesla is today the most famous and popular Serb in the world, with 63 million internet appearances and 33 monuments and busts across 20 countries worldwide.
„Novak Djokovic is side by side with Nikola Tesla. Novak is the most popular modern Serb in the world, he has 17.3 million mentions on the internet, he is the recipient of two major awards as the best tennis player on planet Earth and as the world's best athlete in 2021. At the time of these events in Australia, he received a million new messages from all over the world. American Serbs propose that a monument to Djokovic be erected in New York, next to the monument of Nikola Tesla, which Novak once visited, said Lončar.
The Tesla Science Foundation will present Novak Djokovic with the Order of Nikola Tesla at the first opportunity, once a meeting with the world's best athlete is arranged.
