Musk: US is sacrificing its youth for aid to Ukraine

American billionaire Elon Musk stated that the youth of the country is being sacrificed due to the financial support of the United States of America for Ukraine.

„Another $65 billion to Ukraine? What is the exit strategy? I support Ukraine, but this looks like a perpetual war with no progress. Just sacrificing the country's youth with no territorial gains,” Musk wrote on the X platform, commenting on a video posted by a user showing a version of the US supplementary budget appropriations bill, including $65.5 billion for Ukraine's needs.

Senate bill authors proposed allocating $65.5 billion to Ukraine, compared to the $61 billion requested by the White House.

The law was blocked in December by the Republican opposition, which demanded that the US administration implement a radical migration reform in exchange for approving additional funding for Ukraine.

The U.S. State Department announced $1.425 billion in aid for Ukraine on December 27, thereby exhausting the remaining funds that had been allocated.
