Accounting Assistant (Overseas) – Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify load confirmations in our transportation system-Alvys
- Process loads from complete POD upload through broker billing
- Maintain broker load billing spreadsheet
- Update broker and truck owner information (banking, emails) when needed
- Prepare and distribute weekly driver/owner statements
- Adjust load rates via detention/layover/lumper reimbursements
- Enter reimbursements, deductions, and credits on driver statements
- Pro-rate insurance, ELD, and trailer rent charges as needed
- Process tolls payments and charge appropriate parties
- Run and manage Wex Fleet One fuel reports (weekly and monthly)
- Update weekly payroll spreadsheet
- Respond to driver inquiries and escalate when necessary
- Resolve load discrepancies and payment issues with factoring company and brokers,
when necessary
- Proficiency in Excel
