Stoltenberg: If Russia wins, it will be bad for everyone
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that a Russian victory would be bad for everyone in Europe and North America because it would send a message to authoritarian leaders that all goals can be achieved through the use of force.
Commenting on the situation in Ukraine, Stoltenberg pointed out in an exclusive interview with the American newspaper Politico that Kiev's successes on the battlefield would not have been possible without NATO's support.
He is convinced that Washington will continue to send military and financial aid to Kyiv because Putin's victory in Ukraine would also be a disaster for the Ukrainians.
The Pentagon is planning to send Ukraine a new package of weapons and other aid worth $275 million, unnamed US officials said, AP reported.
Washington has delivered nearly $18 billion in assistance in weapons and other equipment to Ukraine since the war with Russia began on February 24, including a new $275 million.
