Abazović with Kurti: Montenegro ready to host the next round of dialogue

Montenegro is ready to host the next round of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, stated Prime Minister in a technical mandate Dritan Abazović after a meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

„Finished an important conversation with Prime Minister Albin Kurti on the sidelines of the Prespa Forum for Dialogue. Montenegro, as a friendly country to both Serbia and Kosovo, as well as all others in the region, is ready, with the involvement of European and American officials, to host the next round of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Abazović stated on Twitter.

After the meeting with Kurti on the sidelines of the Forum in Struga, North Macedonia, Abazović also stated that „promoting peace, stability, and regional cooperation is one of the main foreign policy goals of Montenegro.“.

„Our shared interest is to find a solution acceptable to all parties through an open conversation,“ Abazović added.

Head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell invited the leaders of Serbia and Kosovo to talks in Brussels next week, saying that it would be a meeting dedicated to resolving the crisis, given that the situation on the ground is worsening every day.
